Day of waiting - Westport - Boat wash - Torqeedo dies

a transmission cone at Rick's
While waiting for the transmission, the wind has risen, we are brewing. The old docks are already shaky in calm weather so when the lake is agitated it becomes a sport of high acrobatics that trying to get to the ground. It sounds like the ultimate test of the drunken sailor: Walk the plank!

News of our transmission: Rick's supplier in Georgia had a computer inventory issue and the transmission cone that was supposed to be inventory were not in stock.  Our cone has been ordered overnight air from Washington (west coast) that afternoon. When the cone comes in, Rick will finish the transmission and ship it will be delivered by UPS that day to arrive Thursday late afternoon.
What I thought was broken
was actually normal

Allan tries the Torqeedo in bad weather. He goes around the harbour a couple of times and then returns almost to Bellum. He throttles it hard and it stalls with an Error 45. Water in the electric motor or electronic components I believe. TANGO UNIFORM.  Another disappointment.

What do sailors and sailors do when they are in port? They wash the bridge! Dan wash and Allan waxed.

After reviewing at the schedule "again", I decided that we were not going to do the Erie Canal. Daniele appeared relieved.

We had a great homemade meal of sausages and peppers provençale with white rice.
