Quaker Smith

The weather was grey and a little cooler. Winds were south 12 to 15 knots. Arise full genoa sail. 5 hours sailing upwind.

A nice long day of slow sailing south deciding where we wanted to stop for the night.  Winds were light.

16:00. The wind weakens and the waves disappear, and through the clouds, large fingers of light tickle the grey face of the lake, lighting a thousand Bengal lights ... beautiful moment.

Wet in Quaker's Smith North. The first look in this bay brings us back to the Back Waters in India. A small strip of land separating two bays where a few trees grow and a pretty sailboat lounging in front. That's all you need to make a perfect landscape.

Once anchored, Allan climbs up to the arrow bars to secure the radar reflector that had lost one of two ties.

Bathing and meals.

Tonight, the most beautiful sunsets follow a grey day preceded by a rainy morning. The étalon lake perfectly reflects the more and more orange tones of the setting sun.

Evening very calm and soothing to contemplate the generous spectacle of nature.
