Near Sorel |
The port of Sorel is very active behind the scenes, we see Lake Ontario followed by two acolytes who are waiting patiently for the next performance to make their appearance, while Federal Alster, Strategic Entity and Motty Qc Norcoring ring the bell. end of this show.
The wind on the Richelieu River was stronger so we had to remove the tent.
The further we get from Sorel, the more peaceful it is on the Richelieu. The residents are at work, few people enjoy this beautiful sunny day where the mercury reaches 35C.

St Ours Lock |
Before the locks, we decided to rest and picnic on the grass of Ile Davard where the lock was located. Wrapped sandwich with ham and cheese.
14:59: We are about to lock. It's really hot, Daniele had to take refuge in the boat for a few moments, it's rare but the sun and the overwhelming heat got the better of her.
17h40: Finally, we are anchored Ile de Jeannotte but, not without having our dose of anxiety!
Then, a noise, oh no! Not yet a propeller noise that has problems to unfold! Three times Allan alternates between reverse and forward to try to get rid of what can hinder movement. All I hope is that tomorrow we will be able to leave our anchorage without any problem.

Mont St. Hilaire |
What a pleasure to swim in the river after this day not very relaxing. The water is at an ideal temperature! We will spend the night anchored east of Ile Jeanotte Island after 56 minutes and an average speed of 6nd.
18:30: The boats anchored near us are gone, but we are not alone, the song of birds captivates our attention.
Meals, sausages, mixed salad and two red peppers. The beautiful life what!
