Arnold Bay to Kingsland

Still in Arnold's Bay.

Kayak ride to go trash on the other side of the bay.

We walk along a nice path.

The wind rises and the rain starts to fall. From far away, we can see Bellum shuffles with the wind. And we are on the other side of the bay far from our protected. A strange sensation.

We must wait for a lull in the weather. We wait for some time and then the opportunity arises. We go. Strategy, we do not go directly to our baby but rather we row upwind and let of the wind push us towards her. MISSION ACCOMPLISHED - we touch Bellum on his side port side. We are home again.

17:00 Allan checks the weather radar and confirms that we have time to go to Kingsland Bay for the night.

On the way, we decided to go a little further and refuel diesel at the Bay Bay Marina. Arrived just in time, the service dock closes in 15 minutes. We radio the marina and they say they close in half an hour. We go for it.

Pump out, water and diesel: 14 US gallons, 313.2 hours engine Hobbs $ 41 USD average of 2.1 liters/hour.

It's not been 10 minutes that we dock that it starts to blow, the bad weather arrives. The attendant agrees that we can wait until the downpour passes before leaving. He just fished his shift and left. Fortunately! We are brewing on all sides, packets of water fall on us and the waves come crashing on the stern with a sound of cannon.

Once the storm passes, we head to Kingsland Bay, about 20 minutes away.

8:00 pm Arrive at Kingsland Bay.   Memories of bringing Floating Point batteries ashore to charge.

Allan installs the hatch umbrella.
